Game Review: Escape From Bathroom (Room Escape Game)

I learned about the existence of Eduxtive yesterday and I foresee that I will be spending a lot of time on this site in the coming days. The site has more than 1000 educational games for kids of all ages – from simple coloring and reading games for preschoolers to algebra games for teenagers. Most importantly, there are dozens of room escape games. I consider that important because I love room escape games.

In case you are not familiar with the term, room escape games are a kind of game where you are trapped inside a place (such as a room or a house) and you have to look for things around you and figure out how to use them in order to find an exit. So, yeah, you will have to MacGyver your way out of there.

I tried one I found in Eduxtive called Escape from Bathroom. It attracted my attention because I found the title and the concept humorous.

First Class Baguio-Manila Trip via Victory Liner Bus

I wanted to try Victory Liner's First Class (aka De Luxe) ride to and from Baguio. Unfortunately, taking the ride to Baguio conflicted with our plans so we opted to try it on our way back to Manila. The Baguio-Manila first class ride only stops at the Cubao and Pasay terminals but we went ahead even though the most convenient terminal for us was Monumento.

Soon after arriving in Baguio (and enjoying several cups of regular and strawberry taho from the vendors right outside the terminal), we went upstairs to buy our return tickets. The cashier showed us a seat plan so we could choose our seats. Outside, the sun was just beginning to rise so while bf was paying for the tickets, I snuck out and took a picture.

I Got Free Jollibee Chickenjoy Thanks to My BPI Credit Card

I have a BPI Mastercard credit card. I don't use it much but since mid-2013 I've been paying my dentist P2000 every 4-6 weeks for my braces. I use my credit card for that and have received free food in return. Last November, I was able to claim 3 orders of Chowking Halo-Halo. Last week, I got 2 orders of 1pc Jollibee Chickenboy meal (drinks not included).

LJC Restaurant Group's 35th Year Anniversary Celebration at Cafe Adriatico in Malate

Last Thursday night, we were invited to celebrate with the LJC Group's 35th year in the restaurant industry. The event was held at the group's flagship restaurant Cafe Adriatico in Malate, Manila.

The restaurant has become a landmark location in Malate and now has branches in Gateway Mall and SM Mall of Asia. It serves a full menu of Filipino, Spanish, and Mediterranean inspired dishes.

Foot-Shaped Squishy Pillow from Accents by Sleepcare

I've been hugging this hot pink foot-shaped pillow from Accents by Sleepcare since yesterday. Very soft and squishy and the design is pretty cute. I used it as a hug pillow when I slept last night and it was comfortable. It's not mine, alas, but a guest's.

Good Service at the LBC Branch Across Lucky Chinatown Mall

I was at the Reina Regente LBC branch (the one facing Lucky Chinatown Mall) last Friday, around 5pm. Compared to the other 12 or so branches I've been to, this one is a lot smaller. There was only one guy manning the place during my visit.
