Previously, we had a diamond peel treatment at Medicard in Makati.
Holy King Medical Clinic was more conveniently located for us so we decided to try it next.
The place was small and modest. There were two floors. On each floor were several beds, separated by curtains. I was treated by one of the aestheticians upstairs while bf was treated downstairs.
I was asked to lie down on the bed closest to the door. Unfortunately, the bed was not properly cleaned after the previous occupant left. There was a wet spot. Thank goodness it was just gel. When I called the aesthetician's attention, she wiped it off.
Things were not as private as in Medicard. I could hear conversations between the aestheticians as well as between other clients and the staff attending to them. Some of the staff moved around a lot which made me a little bit self-conscious since I was near the door and they would always pass me by.

My treatment was just facial diamond peel but my aesthetician was kind enough to treat my neck as well and also paid more attention to problematic areas such as the jawline, sides of the nose, and corners of the mouth. After bf's treatment, his skin looked great. The staff as well as the lady doctor I got to meet later on were all polite, patient, and accommodating.

What I don't like bout holy king? they had this promo of 150 diamond peel which I confirmed thru fon because hnd ako nag avail sa groupon and they said Na ok lng Na iavail directly sa clinic bt pgpunta ko dun 250 pa dn singil nila. Sinabi ko na tumawag pako kanina and un ang sabi150 lang but the specialist told me na mura na nga un.Ngtnong dn ako bout mole removal thru fon, they asked me the size then I waited for 10mins Kasi itatanong dw then they quoted me for 1k pro pgpnta ko Na dun 4k na. What I hate about it is not the rate but yung panloloko Ng price para pmnta ka, nkakapgduda tuloy yung clinic Na to.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible. Did you go to the Caloocan branch? One thing I noticed but forgot to include in the review was that the staff did not seem to know about the prices. They offered me some treatment (stem cell facial if I remember correctly) but when I asked how much it was, they looked at one another and did not seem to know.
DeleteIf you reserve or ask prices through phone, I suggest getting the name of the person you spoke to so you can pinpoint him/her if your agreement is not honored and he/she can be made accountable for the error.
just an observation guys.. that for 'first time customers', you will really, definitely get the best or morethan customer satisfaction. Ofcourse-- to make you come back for more!!!... And it is when you are already a 'loyal' or constant customer... that you begin to experience bad service. Kahit sa laundry service ganyan diba? What more pa kung sa ganito, at makilala ka pa ng staff na di ka nagbibigay ng tip-- hay bulok na paguugali ng pinoy

ReplyDeleteJust a tip off, Holy King is not trustworthy at all. They have cheap promotions even though they have on going deals online and their stated prices are all fabricated. One group buying site has already banned Holy King Medical from their site due to cheating their customers with fabricated prices.

DeleteThe facial was ok, I think the liposculpt will be fine as well, but I won't go back to Holy King for anything that requires anesthesia. I tried their electrocautery and that hurt (while my previous electrocautery treatments in other skin clinics were painless).
I have to agree with the previous comment about the prices. When you see the Caloocan branch, you will doubt the regular prices indicated in the voucher. I think Holy King uses the regular prices of higher end derma clinics to make the discount look impressive.

One Anon mentioned from his comment (pasted below) about the anomaly between the Ortiz and Holy King clinics and even mentioned the name Paul Ortiz. Basing from the comment above, are you the same Paul Ortiz which is a "co-owner" of that Holy King clinic? Which is why you are posting such a positive comment above all the majority of negative comments from diff blogs. tsktsktsk. I was planning to buy the Fractional Laser from Metrodeal, but now i am thinking twice. Seems like i would just risk it if i will push through. Beware!

staff here are so unprofessional, if they know you're already paid or has voucher for the treatment, they wouldn't entertain you . worse, if they know that you're not givng tips. i already know why dra. jen have 2 different name of clinics, holy king and ortiz, for tax purposes. dr paul who happens to be the owner of the ortiz medical is just a "dummy". as from there staff, no wonder they hate their employer. looks can be deceiving. one more thing, as per her staff, dra jen is teaching them to cheat on the services and products that the client would avail. ikanga nung staff " kung kelan naging mayaman si dra chaka naging madaya"

DeleteI agree that they have cheap promotions compared to vouchers offered in the net and I can attest to that so beware of buying immediately the vouchers. My friends were talking about this clinic over coffee last week about the flexibility of their prices, their facialist can decide the price of a specific treatment even lower than vouchers offered and I was shocked because I and my friends were comparing the treatments we took and we had different prices. One of my friend told me that in Caloocan branch, i can't remember the name she gave but she's a nurse I think and she charges higher than the given price and not customer friendly.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing against this clinic, doc Jen and Mr. Ortiz ( husband of doc Jen), who in their right mind refuse cheap beauty services, comment such as mine were given not to degrade or to distrust customers but serves as a reminder that this is not just a business but a public service as well hence corresponding standard applies. I and my friends value the services you offered and congratulate the opening of the new branch, I hope next time a specific price will be equally offered because a difference of 100 pesos or lower, it's still cheating. I agree to the first comment. remember time and effort were exerted not to include the unexpected price to pay.

DeleteAnother thing I noticed in their voucher promos before was sometimes the clinic was indicated as Ortiz Medical Clinic, sometimes it was stated as Holy King. Same address, same landline. I forgot to ask them about that during our visit.

They charge prices depending on your status or the way they think of you, if you are more capable to pay higher than usually charge despite the similarity of treatments. Their lipo gel was so smelly and even saw a pubic hair on it. I've heard some staff to get some lipo USED gel on the lipo treatment room. That's so gross! Never would come back on this clinic ever again.

First may nilagay na whitening. Binabad tapos ni laser. Then nagapply ng gamot.
Nagulat ako sa ibang comments kasi ang pangit ata ng experience nila. So far ung sakin okay naman at babalik ako aftet 3 weeks.

ReplyDeleteI was a regular customer in this clinic before. Everything went well but one thing I noticed is that they take advantage on people who are weak and rich. What I mean about weak is "nauuto nila". If they know you have the money, they will give you freakin' discounts and will encourage or subconsciously force you to comeback to their clinic and spend more and more money. The staffs and nurses are nice, but the doctor itself is "pasimpleng greedy". She's nice yes, pero isang beses kasi nagpunta ako then she asked "Ano ka ngayon?" I told her one kind of treatment and then she keep offering me other services that I took before, but I don't have money during that time kasi may mga kailangan din naman akong bayaran. Nakita ko siyang ngumiwi at sumimangot. Masama pa nito hindi na ako masyado pinansin. Di lang ito once nangyari, maraming beses na. Ramdam ko rin na porket wala na akong mabigay sa kanilang pera eh para na nilang binasura ang customer nila. Oo maalaga siya sa pasyente. Pasyenteng may pera lang pero kapag wala kang pera kakalimutan ka na.
ReplyDeleteThe reason I'm sharing this is I want everyone to be aware. Yung fraxel na pilit niyang pinapa-avail sa lahat ng mga pasyente niya ay hindi ko irerecommend. I had 12-18 sessions of fraxel pero wala namang nangyari sa mukha ko. Worse is the anesthesia sucks! Ramdam na ramdam mo pa rin ang sakit. Nag-improve naman yung mukha ko 1-2 weeks but after that back to normal. Meron pa siyang salitang "Tiyagain lang natin ito". Malala pa nito ay naging sobrang sensitive na ng skin ko from the sun and konting scratches nagkakaron na ng mark. Their procedure of fraxel is not right. Nag-research kasi ako sa fraxel procedures na ginagawa sa ibang clinics atibang bansa at ibang-iba talaga ang procedure nila. Meron namang improvement sa face ko siguro yung mga dark spots or dark marks pero konting-konti lang talaga.
I also like to warn everyone about their stem cell. Iba ang procedure ng stem cell nila sa totoong stem cell. You can search it guys sa internet.
Marami pa ito pero di ko na iisa-isahin pa. I suggest mag-research ang lahat regarding their services at kung papaano nila ginagawa then compare it sa mga totoong procedures that you can find in other clinics or the net.

DeleteIn fairness with the comment regarding quotas, very much true po. Actually, 30k sa ibang branch like Makati. Very reliable kya source ko, sister pa ni Dra. sbi pa nga nya 50k pag weekends eh. ReplyDeleteSa gustong mag avail ng IPL, I suggest wag na. I tried it sa Caloocan branch, parang lalo ng nag chicken skin yung underarm ko. Yung RF nila, sinubukan ko din, sira yung plate na nilalagay sa likod, naground pako, yung rf sa face, hindi mainit tapos mali yung pagmassage sa mukha, kya imbes na magtighten, parang bumagsak pa. Yung diamond peel nila, hindi kasama yung facial sa promo, magbabayad kapa ng 300 ata yun for facial. Yung pang cover pa pala sa bodymo para di malagyan ng RF cream, me bayad na 30 pesos kasi sisingilin ka ng attendant. Nung sinabi ko na towel na lang, nilayasan ako ng attendant at nagpapalit sa iba, mabuti na lang mabait ung pumalit, Abby ata yung name ng girl na pumalit.

Nung tinawagan ko sila sa Caloocan mukang okay naman at wala naman daw babayarang iba pag dating dun basta ibigay lng yung voucher . nasayo na daw kung bibilin mo yung inaalok nung doctor. nag dalawang isip tuloy ako bilin yung 16 voucher

ReplyDeleteBeen a customer for 6mos, i availed the IPL for UA but apparently the results werent that visible. I have a staff that regularly does d IPL 4me,bt wn he was out of the office, a girl did it for me. After the treatment with her, i noticed that my skin got burned a bit. Til i found out that d guy who is assisting me just resignd. ╯﹏╰ wl try nalang sa ibng derma. And yes grbe nga magsalestalk yung staff na hndi naman dapat nila ginagawa.nakakapressure kc hbng tntreat ka nla, they wud lure you sa products and results wc i find awkward.

Sayang lang effort ko sa pagpunta,wala naman akong napala! Napaka unprofessional ng staff,nagmukha lang kming tanga sa counter! Wala bng workshop for customer service ang mga company na to? Deletehi! im a regular patient of holy king medical and skin clinic, actually noong unang pag punta ko sa clinic nila sa makati medyo marumi, parang hindi kaaya aya sa mata ng mga pasyenteng tulad ko, pero until nag rotate ata sila kasi mga bagong mukha ng staff na yung nakikita ko every time na pumupunta ako, wala na kasi yung dating gumagawa sakin, pero nung last na punta ko last week nabigla ako kasi super maganda na yung clinic ng makati, at pagpasok na pag pasok ko ng clinic very comfortable kasi maluwag na sya sa reception area, and amoy menthol pa... specially the comfort room, malinis na malinis na sya... i was surprise! and the treatment naman meron naman akong improvement specially the fractional laser. thank you dra jen! nice clinic! :)

Stop saying that people are jealous of her because at the end of the day, she is judge by the service she provides because she is a doctor.
ReplyDeleteHi! I bought the 3-in-1 slimming solution (10 sessions) from Ensogo and I had my first session at QC branch last Monday. It was okay. I agree with the author's feedback though around privacy; you could hear all the chit-chats happening. But as far as cleanliness is concerned, seems okay because they changed the disposable towels. The assistants will try their best to offer other services like IPL, diamond peels, etc, but as long as you're firm in saying no, they won't bug you anymore (at least in my case). The lady who was assisting me remained accommodating after that.
ReplyDeleteI purchased the P1,500 IPL promo that they have (6 months, 2 weeks interval) because this is literally dirt-cheap compared to other clinics. I had to make sure though that she jot it down in my records so that I won't be questioned when I have my next visit.
All in all, it was a good experience and I will definitely go back. This is an objective feedback based on my personal experience. I'll probably provide another review after 6 months when my IPL service is complete :)

Deletesis ask ko lang, nasunod ba yung 2 weeks interval sa IPL mo? I paid 2,500 for a year, 2 weeks interval! Ayaw nako gawin in 2 weeks time kasi 3 weeks na daw ngayon! I checked sa iba, 10 days interval lang pwede na IPL ulit. Tinatapos ko nalang 'tong 1 year lilipat nako sa iba!

Deletetrue! pangit ang service ng clinic na to. kala ko dati ok kasi you can ask for discount w/ doc jen. pero malalaman mo tunay na ugali nya. they're all after the money. paghihintayin ka ng matagal. but the service is poor. i once had CO2 fractional laser. but it through metrodeal. I had it scheduled one saturday at 4 pm but i had the procedure taken aroung 7 pm. after the procedure, may nilagay na collagen sa mukha ko. so i thought part yun sa binayaran ko kasi nakalagay dun sa package, may mask, etc. pa. but then they ask me to pay 300. imagine! konting pahid lang sa mukha ko. 300 na! my goodness! they didn't even informed me. kung alam ko lang e d hindi na sana ako nagpalagay. tapos sinabi ni doc jen na bumili ako ng collagen for maintenance. it costs 500. nagsalin lang sa 1 maliit na lalagyan yung staff kasi d ako bumili ng 1 bote. i didn't take a look at it until nakauwi na ako sa bahay. pagtingin ko sa laman, wala pang 1 kutsara ang laman. imagine! that's already 500. ano yun ginto? e sa mall nga makakabili ka na ng mas mura pa dun e. may brand pa. binalik ko sa kanila. but since credit card ginamit ko pambayad, di daw nila mababalik sakin yung pera. so i had to take another procedure para magamit ko yung 500 na dapat ibalik nila sakin. i had schlero. that was the last. sabi ko kay doc jen d ano magpapa fractional. mukha silang pera!

Totoo lahat ng pinagdaanan na yan sa holy king. naloko nako once sa prices at nagka-issue na din kay doc jen mismo. kinausap ko sila ng maayos, hindi talaga ibabalik yung pera mo buti nga dun sa isang nag-post pumayag na palitan nalang ng ibang product o procedure. yung sakin wala talagang ginawa. pinili ko nalang to be mature about it and pasa-Diyos nalang yung 7,000. may karma naman. babalik naman sakin yun nagtatrabaho kong maayos at walang nilolokong tao. wag nalang siguro mag-wish ng masama sa kanila o mag-post pa ng kung ano ano. Comment and reviews nalang talaga. Ako personally, hindi na babalik.

Kailangan pang i-orient ng employer ang staff na huwag mangloko at ayusin gawa sa bawat customer? Kung matino kang tao kahit anong trabaho mo, hindi ba dapat kusa ka ng hindi manloloko at aayusin trabaho mo? At hindi ba nung time na nagko-complain kami hindi mahagilap dok nyo? ni mga staff biglang hindi sumasagot ng tawag at text? Hanggang dito ba naman nangloloko kayo!!!

hello, first of all dapat walang pangingitim na mangyayari sa ua mo, hindi siguro marunong yung gumawa sayo or worst case hindi RN. kung naka voucher kalang malamang minadali lang nila ang pag gagawa sayo. hindi proper ang treatment low quality ang mga ginamit. and ang IPL paghininto mo ang pagpapatreat babalik din ang hair mo. better mag invest ka sa talagang effective na treatment. not with Satan king clinic i mean holy king . Mababang klase ang mga machine nila maniwala ka sakin naging patient narin nila ako dati. hindi ko nagustuhan ang treatments nila. kung ako sayo wag kana bumalik dun. magsisisi kalang.
Deletehi same thing happened to me. nasunog sya and sobrang hapdi. nung nagpa-check ako sa derma sa Chinese gen sabi sakin hindi daw marunong yung nag-ipl. IPL ay nakakatulong pa nga daw dapat pumuti yung area kasi may whitening effect sya. nung tinanong ko yung gumawa sakin after ng procedure ba't masakit and mahapdi, NORMAL DAW YUN.. wala na sa Caloocan branch yung gumawa sakin nung binalikan ko. may rotation daw sila. hinayaan ko nalang, 99 lang naman. pwede mo din I-search sa net mismo na hindi pala dapat ganun. nabasa ko yung comment nung JESS sa baba na WOW mga naloko pa ng holy king kinampihan at nasabihan na WALANG MALOLOKO KUNG WALANG NAGPAPALOKO.. it doesn't change the fact na NALOKO at MAY MALING NAGAWA SATIN ANG HOLY KING. wala akong pakielam sa personal na tumitira kay doc dito.. pero personal experiences counts. so sana wag I-disregard. saka porke naglagay ng JESS na name, HINDI NA SYA ANONYMOUS? e wala din naming PIC at PERSONAL INFO... anyway, wish her luck though. alam na naman natin kakalabasan nyan... papabilhin ka pa ng maraming vouchers o pe-preshuhan ka ng "PROMO". at pag nag-avail ka after 5-10 sessions, SILA LANG NAKAKAKITA NG IMPROVEMENT tas aadvice ka nila na bumili pa... Nagpagawa ako sa holyking makati ng treatment na nabili ko sa ensogo.. pagpasok ko ng clinic may babaeng nasa desk na nagsusulat like was doing something i waited for her dahil akala ko ieentertain ako pero parang di ako nakita and kahit greet man lang di ako pinansin, then may babaeng mataba na umupo sa may chair near the tv but surprisingly di pa din ako inentertain luckily may babaeng lumapit sa reception and ask kung anong procedure ko and nagawa na nga ako after 10-20 mins of waiting, ok na sana pero habang ginagawa ako instead na makapag relax ako hindi ko magawa dahil sa sobrang lakas ng tv at sobrang ingay ng mga tao na nagtatawanan, after ng procedure ko nagtanong ako kung saan yung restroom sinabi sakin na sa dulo daw then left and then i found out na yung ingay na naririnig ko is sa mismong mga employee na nagtatawanan and mga nakahiga pa, sobrang disappointed ako sa clinic na yun, bukod sa napaka dumi na ng cr, napaka walang manners ng mga staff, yun lang yung clinic na napuntahan kong parang palengke sa dumi and ingay!

ReplyDeleteI used to go to their Makati Branch. My first 10 visits were ok. After that the service has drastically changed. One staff in particular (Che) agressively sells higher priced services to clients.They don't even have standard procedures in doing RF, IPL and other promotional services. Each attendant does thinngs differently. One attendant was even texting while masaging my face after RF treatment and she's not wearing gloves!!! Imagime the dirt from her cellphone being transferred to your skin.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, to continue, I find the clinic very unsanitary. The beds are filthy and some of their machines don't work well but they kept on using them. I just had no choice back then but to use all the vouchers I purchased from mertodeal. Will never go back there!

ReplyDeleteI have nothing against Dr. Jen but I agree with some negative comments here. I've had my fractional laser 3 times. Dr. Jen has been the one doing it.. Its true na wala namang nangyayari. I mean after magscabs ng face for 1 week, you'll see na your face will get whiter but after a week again babalik din sya sa dati. Trust me. I've had it for 3 consecutive months. With regards to the aestheticians I also agree na sometimes they act so unprofessional. I remember one time I arrived at the clinic nagtuturuan pa sila kung sino maga-assist sakin.. Buti na lang I am not sensitive at dinedma ko na lang baka kasi magwalk out na ko. HAHA. And the first time I undergo the fraxel I also experienced that "price issue" thingy.. Habang ginagawa kasi ni Dra jen yung fraxel I was advised "Pahidan ko ng stem cell ha para mabilis magheal"as in parang water lang syang pinahid. and ako Oo lang ako ng oo coz I thought its free sabi ko pa sa sarili ko "ang bait naman ni Doc" but then, nung inabot na yung receipt I was shocked may 300 dun for stem cell daw.. Buti na lang may extra money ako. Gosh. and pinabili ako ni doc nung parang lotion na nilagay sa SUPER LIIT na lalagyan (forgot the name though). Yes, SUPER LIIT. Pero siningil ako ng 500. Mygaashh! Buti na lang may maganda ding nangyari. the Hamilton sunblock. I love it though. Kahit hindi na ko nagpapafraxel dun, I come back regularly to but the hamilton - super good sya sa face. If anyone here knows where can I avail it please let me know para hindi na ko babalik sa holy king. Thanks! :)

ReplyDeletemy experience to holyking was ok nmn..super effective ng ipl nila sa underarm, legs and brazillian. As in ngaun wla n tlga tumutubo na hair sken and i also refer holyking to my friends kc npakadali puntahan and sobrang mura compare sa other clinic na napunthan ko. And actually dapat 4 shots lang tlga ipl nila sa underarm pero minsan dinadagdagan pa nila ung shot para masatisfy daw patient nila coz i asked them about that sabi q kasi bkit s iba ang strict nila sa ipl shot and then cla hnd masyado. And i regularly have facial to them ang galing nila gumawa malinis tlga hnd ka mamadaliin medjo masakit lang compare sa iba pero they sure na malinis tlga ung face ko. Hnd q cla dinidepensahan i just brag honestly lang kung ano experience q dun.Nkatulong din kc cla saken na hnd ganun kalaki ung nagagastos ko dame ko na kasi napunthan na clinic ang mahal lalo na sa mall syempre mageexpect ako ng sobrang gandang service tpos i got discouraged kasi parang hnd woth it ung binayad q da place lang tlga kaya mahal tpos dto sa holyking i didnt expect too much kasi nga hnd pa xa ganun kilala tpos ang mura pa so kla q makakaisang punta lang ako mdun basta gusto q lang itry and then yun i found out ok ung mga treatments nila. i can say that im one of their satisfied clients.

ReplyDeleteNaku dapat di mamatay tong blog na to. Natatandaan ko ang embarrassing experience ko sa Ortiz medical clinic sa Buendia, Makati. Pumunta ako dun for wart removal, aaminin ko madami talaga akong warts sa face, neck at body area kaya pumunta ako dun. Pero nung inaantay mag take effect yung anesthesia before i cauterize ang warts, naririnig ko yung staff na nagkwekwento dun sa receiving area tungkol sa warts ko, kesyo puno yung mukha ko ng warts, yun daw pinakamadami nyang nakitang warts, daming naubos na EMLA, syempre nahihiya ako at nasasaktan. Sabi ko napaka unprofessional ng mga taong 'to, walang malasakit sa customer nila at kapag naka voucher ka, halos di ka na papansinin kapag bumabalik ka, siguro dahil tapos ka na nila pagkakitaan.

Well, now based on the feedbacks.. it's a NO to Holy King Medical Clinic..
Nakabili ako ng promo nila, Php 99/ session ng diamond peel. Here's my comment about the service:
ReplyDeleteFacial cleaning, ung wipes na ginupit sa dalawa ang ginamit sakin. Mild cleanser followed by a facial scrub na amoy chocolate. Then punas ulit nung wipes, ramdam ko na may naiwan pang bead nung facial scrrub sa skin ko. Then punas ng tissue na arang crepe paper sa tigas.
Then the diapon peel begins: isang tip lang yung ginamit sa entire face ko unlike sa ibang derma clinics na na-try ko, 2-3 ung tip na ginagamit (from rough to smooth and iba yung pang nose) Pero sa Holy King isa lang.
And then after nung session, nilagyan ng serum (Vit C serum daw) And that's it, tapos na yung DP Treatment. Sa iba kasi either may laser or may cryo treatment (ung malamig sa skin) after ng Diamond Peel bago lagyan ng kung anung cream o serum.
Pero sa Holy King, walang ganun! Baket, kasi iba raw yung cryo treatment nila, ibang service meaning may additional price.
At tama yung mga ibang comment about sa staff, ang iingay. Humahalakhak pa ng twa dahil sa pinapanood sa TV.
Hiniritan pa ko nung staff na try ko daw Collagen essence nila para dahil effective whitening treatment daw nila yun. Hello COLLAGEN for Whitening?

ReplyDeleteChecking profile of Dr Jen Ortiz, she is not a board certified dermatologist, meaning nagtrain lang pero di nag aral. One reason na dapat sa PDS derma kayo is they are expert sa mga skin condition kasi pinag aralan nila yun. I think even doctors at Belo are not PDS, they are doctors na pinagtrain lang. Yung derma ko, she even went to Thailand to train how to perform laser treatment procedures and take note for a Month ha. Check your doctor's here: http://pds.org.ph/

ReplyDeletei tried and i regret it. namaga face ko tapos nagkaron ng dark spots and uneven skin tone and they all said it is normal. if you want to risk it, you can try. but my advice is don't go here. try other clinics nalang.

ReplyDeletesobrang pangit ng services. hindi nagrereply yung "doctora" daw nila nung nagka problem sa fraxel na ginawa ng "nurses" nila. doctor ka ba talaga, very unprofessional. i hope people read this thread of reviews before they opt to visit the clinic. worst experience ever! tapos yung mga attendant wala ren naman natulong. puro normal lang yan ganyan talaga. they did not even bother to check the face. and worse bebentahan ka pa lalo ng products.

ReplyDeletenka 3 sessions na ako sa fraxel. meron ako npansin sa old scar ko bumabaw2x siya..pro the rest na problem ko din hindi masyado ng scab..

DeleteEvery person has a freedom to say their opinions anyone can throw hatred and defaming comments ,but from what I observed their clinics have flourished too much and that wouldn't happen if their customer service sucks...
ReplyDeleteHi. First time ko kanina magpa IPL sa Zonav (2nd ave branch) wala pang 10mins ata yun gumawa sa akin. Tinanong ako kung nagdeo ako.. nung cnbi ko oo, may pinahid sa ua ko and proceeded to laser (no protection sa eyes na pinasuot sa akin miski yung attendant) and not painless. Grabe dama ko tlaga ung sakit. Then after non sabi nya lang eto mam for whitening.. ayun painless. Tas ayun mga sis, tpos na. Yun na pala yun??
ReplyDeleteI had several micro current services and IPL and it all works well. Now im scheduled for fraxel. I trust them for more than 4 years na. And i love the services. Ofcourse we are not payinh this much so lets not expect that much. But for me Im satisfied with their services.
ReplyDeleteI PAID 3K FOR 10 SESSIONS AT PASIG CLINIC AND THEY DIDNT PROVIDE ME WITH OffIcial receipt. Luma na ung clinic pata kang nakahiga sa public hospital super liiy ng kwarto and ung foam ng bed ramdam ko na ung namumuo na foam sa kalumaan. Pati mga staff dito walang buhay puro chismax lang ginagwa. Hindi ko din alam if para sa whitening daw ung ilaw ilaw na pinapahid sa UA after ng mahapding IPL na painless daw. Ang mahal pa ng bleacging cream nila 1500 hindi naman sure if effective grrrr. Super nagsisi ako kaso tuloy ko nlang din sayang kasi. Naka 2 sessions na ako so far numipis na hair ko tho nothibg has change sa color hindi nag lighten.
ReplyDeleteI've been visiting their Pasig branch since 2015. Here's a review of some of their services that I've had.
ReplyDeleteBasic facial
- the procedure was simple. 1) mild cleanse, 2) scrub (they don't do this sometimes though), 3) steam, 4) pricking and squeezing of whiteheads, and 5) application of some sort of soothing cream
- the overall procedure was not thorough. The aesthetician just focused on removing the whiteheads in my nose and chin area, while I obviously have some whitehead buildup in some areas of my face.
Diamond Peel
- satisfactory level depends on the aesthetician. Some do it the right way, with a standard pattern on how to properly glide the tool and how often for each area. While others use the tool with no pattern whatsoever, gliding in whatever direction.
- i don't mind if they use only a single size or type of nozzle (that's more for microdermabrasion procedure where it uses 5-6 different types of nozzles) as long as the aesthetician gets into all the corners of my face.
Glycolic peel for underarms
- the aesthetician wiped clean my underarms to get rid of whatever sweat or dirt. Then she applied a cream and let it dry for about 30 minutes.
- She told me that peeling will begin after about 2-3 weeks. I am not allowed to apply any underarm product for the next 5 days. I should also avoid scrubbing my underarms.
- After 2 weeks, no peeling visible. 3 weeks, still no peeling visible.
- To conclude, nothing really happened. What a waste of money.
Stem cell
- After a simple cleansing procedure, the aesthetician applied tiny amounts of cream on my forehead, cheeks, and chin. I asked her what was the cream for and she said that its the stem cell cream. (hmmm ok)
- then she pulled out a tool that has a flat circular surface on top (about 1 inch in diameter). The tool was warm (tolerable) and she started gliding it on my face after spreading the cream. The procedure lasted for about 20 minutes only.
- I felt that my skin was much smoother right after the procedure. I think this requires series of sessions to see the results it claims, which is a fairer skin.
GENERAL COMMENTS
- the beds and machines are so cramped
- the most disappointing thing about my entire experience are the aestheticians themselves. Not everyone carry out the procedures the same way. Some do it ok, some are not. Holy King really needs to streamline this.
- some aestheticians also tend to be really annoying. I came to their clinic to relax but they opt to chat with one another VERY LOUDLY.
