Goya Choco Hazelnut Spread is a Nice Alternative to Nutella

I previously raved about Nutella. The only thing I don't like about this popular spread is the price. My Twisted Recipes mentioned a cheaper alternative a while back and finally I got to try that: Goya Choco Hazelnut Spread.

Nutella is still the leader but Goya's version is good too. Plus, with a selling price that is less than half of Nutella's, Goya is a lot friendlier to the pocket.

I got to buy my jar of 400g Goya Choco Hazelnut Spread from SM Hypermart for P114. In contrast, the 375g Nutella jar was priced P237.

The Goya spread's label indicates that the product is made in Germany. The emphasis makes a good selling point, as German-made products have an implicit promise of good quality.

Like Nutella, Goya Choco Hazelnut Spread goes well with breads, crackers, and even suman.
